The Springfield Story of Economic Success

Springfield has seen over a billion dollars in new investments in the last 10 years. We’re proud of the new roads, hospital and businesses. Sid has been a leader in this effort. He is the only candidate who has run a business and a government.

Effective Public Safety

From design to completion, Springfield’s new Justice Center was a community effort. The building itself is standing proof of a commitment to effective public safety. The people of Springfield know how to solve problems. We need that same spirit to fix public safety at the Lane County level.

Working Together To Get Things Done

Having worked with leaders at all levels of government, Sid knows being effective means having a balanced perspective. At times, the county seems to be at odds with cities and local areas. The county could use a working knowledge of the successful “Team Springfield” approach. Working together, we can solve county problems.

The people of Springfield and NE Eugene deserve a county commissioner who understands them. For 10 years, I've served the people of Springfield as Mayor. My love for our community shows in so many of the successes we've accomplished together. I'm proud to have attended the dozens of ribbon cuttings for the new facilities, the new roads and the new businesses that have made Springfield an Oregon success story. I have an honest desire to serve; to help my community. I know the people of Springfield and the people of Springfield know me. They know the work we've shared and the progress we've made together. Our efforts have built a better Springfield. The county has some real challenges ahead. I'm running for county commissioner because I think I can help. With your support, we can build a better Lane County.
